The book for 2014 Hambletonian winner Trixton is now full and closed and includes some of trotting's more recognizable fillies and mares.
Standing in New Jersey in Deo Volente Farms, Trixton's first book includes world champions Check Me Out and Queen Serene, plus top broodmares Graceful Touch (the dam of Muscle Mass, Muscle Massive and Thatsnotmyname) and Southwind Serena (the dam of 2014 U.S. two-year-old trotting filly of the year, world champion Mission Brief).
In two seasons of racing, Trixton earned $968,696, taking his mark of 1:50.3 in the Hambletonian despite racing the entire mile parked on the outside. In addition, Trixton won such stakes as the Goodtimes in 1:51.3, an all-time Canadian record for three-year-old colt trotters. He also won the Simpson in 1:51.2, the Reynolds in 1:51.4, and the Simcoe in 1:52.2.
