Veteran gelding Armbro David put forth his second consecutive front-end win in the top pacing class at Windsor Raceway on Sunday evening, while another set of pacers kept their win streaks rolling

Fresh off a win in last week's Open, the nine-year-old Jessica Roegner trainee stole the show once again in the $12,500 Preferred Handicap Pace. Parked out from Post 8 early on, driver Marc St. Louis Jr. sent Armbro David to the top past the :27-second opening quarter mark. The duo continued to lead the way past the half in :55.3 while Jebswesternshake and Trace Tetrick pulled first up from third. Armrbo David managed to keep his main rival at bay and began to pace away past the three-quarters mark in 1:25. He then opened up three lengths down the stretch before hitting the wire in 1:54.1. Jebswesternshake persisted for second-place honours.
Armbro David paid $3.90 to win as the 4-5 favourite. The Blissfull Hall-Armbro Watts gelding is now three-for-four this year with $18,250 earned for owner Matthew Percy of Canton, Michigan. The win was Armbro David's 28th lifetime and boosted his bankroll to $238,778.
Earlier on the card, win streaks continued for Gerald Mijal's sophomore gelding Machin Music ($2.80) and 10-year-old mare Linatawa N ($4.40), owned by Isaac Waxman and Travis Henry. The lightly race Machin Music scored his fifth straight win with a 1:57.1 wire-to-wire effort in the fourth race conditioner with Brad Kramer in the bike. Linatawa N, with driver Nick Steward subbing in for Henry, journeyed first over in the eighth race for $6,000 claiming mares to win her fifth in a row in 1:56.3.
