Not Enough was more than impressive as she wired the field in the first of two $50,000 Overbid Series divisions for free for all pacing mares on Friday night at Meadowlands Racetrack

Driven by Ron Pierce, Not Enough cruised through fractions of :27, :55 and 1:22.3 and held off Ideal Newton and Tim Tetrick by a head for a 1:50.4 victory. On The Glass and Yannick Gingras finished third, in her first start off a four-month layoff.
Not Enough ($10.80) is two-for-two this season after tuning up for the Overbid with a 1:51.2 mile at Pompano Park. Chris Oakes trains the millionaire daughter of Grinfromeartoear-Party Planner for Bulletproof Enterprises of Boca Raton, Florida.
Laughandbehappy, the 3-5 favourite, was a flat fourth in her first effort since her dazzling sweep of the Cape and Cutter on Feb. 18.
"Laughandbehappy obviously did not race to her full potential, [she is] recovering from a quarter crack," co-owner Robert Cooper shared on Meadowlands Racetrack's Facebook page.
Ron Pierce also piloted Cuz She Can ($4.80) to a well-rated 1:52.4 victory in the second Overbid division. Omen Hanover and Pat Berry made a late lunge for second, while Jasperthat A and Tetrick grabbed the show spot. The consistent Cuz She Can improved her record to two wins and four seconds in eight starts this season. Kevin McDermott trains the six-year-old daughter of Cambest-Second Sympohny for Fran Azur of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.
Driver Yannick Gingras will preview his drives for the night and respond to fans' questions on Meadowlands Racetrack's Saturday night pre-card broadcast.
Gingras recently received the President's Award from the United States Harness Writers Association for his charity work and efforts to promote the sport of harness racing.
