First Tracks Cumberland has announced this Saturday's (April 2) initial qualifying races will be broadcast live on the Race Track Network (RTN). The action starts at 12 noon EDT on the Race Track Network.
Horsepeople should declare by 9 a.m. on Friday (April 1). Horses that raced December 1, 2021 or after are NOT required to qualify through the first two weekends of racing (through April 16). After April 16, the 45-day rule goes back into effect.
In addition to the live RTN broadcast, qualifiers will also be streamed via the internet live (free) on the track's website. Click on 'live racing/video replays.' The live racing icon in the player box will be enabled.
First Tracks Cumberland will remain on RTN channel 9747 this season. Opening day for the Cumberland Spring/Summer meeting is Friday, April 8 at 3 p.m. EDT.
Race fans and horsepeople can also go to www.rtn.tv.
Cumberland will have a special guest announcer for the opening qualifiers.
