The driver-trainer, husband-wife duo of Andy and Julie Miller pulled off a sweep of the Spring Survivor Series opening round Friday night at Meadowlands Racetracks.

Team Miller clicked with the popular Trouble ($3) in the first $12,500 division and pulled off a mild upset in the second with Top Billing ($26.20).

Trouble romped to a 1:58.3 four length triump over Feegee and Double Chriscross for Andy Miller Stable Inc. and George Brennan Inc. The son of Conway Hall has won half of his six starts this year.

Top Billing rallied home from second over to win his career debut in 1:55.2 by two lengths over Not Afraid and On The Podium. The Andover Hall son is owned by Jason Allen and Douglas Allen.

The series is for three-year-old trotters that are non-winners of two extended pari-mutuel races or $30,000 lifetime as of March 1, 2012.

The Millers also picked up a win in regular racing action with the favoured trotter Temple Of Doom ($3.20) in 1:54.1. The $700,000-plus earner is now two-for-two since joining the Miller stable. Andy also drove pacing mare Reillys Daughter ($5.20) to a 1:53.3 victory for his brother, trainer Erv Miller.
