Officials with RUS Ontario have announced an upcoming seminar date with a special guest instructor from overseas.
Participants interested in trying riding under saddle, improving riding style or just coming to spend an afternoon with passionate standardbred people are invited to a seminar on Sunday, April 10 at 1 p.m. with special guest, champion European rider Sabina Gammelgård teaching the style and techniques of monte riding.
Gammelgård is a very talented and experienced rider, with more than a decade of experience and 60+ career wins. She also has received multiple award wins for being the rider of the year, the latest one for 2021.
The clinic will be hosted at Stevensons Training Centre, located near Flamboro Downs. A few horses will be available, but riders are welcome to bring their own horses. To book a stall for the event, please contact Emma Christoforou at 289-971-4675.
