It has been reported that on Tuesday night (March 26) an accident on Highway 401 in Ontario forced members of the Provincial Police to pursue a racehorse down the freeway.
CTV News London has reported that the accident, which took place near Communication Road, occurred when a pickup truck pulling a horse trailer lost control due to poor weather conditions.
The article explains that the trailer, which was carrying two racehorses, came to rest in the centre median on its roof. One horse remained safely inside the trailer, while the other took off down the highway.
The horse was ultimately corralled under an overpass.
