Dover Downs hosted more DSBF divisions on Wednesday, as three-year-filly trotters battled in a trio of tilts and three-year-old trotting colts and geldings

sparred in set of splits.

Bakermill Blake led off the DSBF events with Bob Shahan driving the Linbo colt to a career-best clocking of 2:00.3. He held off Collect The Brass and Boss Commando for owners Sherrie and Blake Baker.

Ross Wolfenden scooted down the passing lane in the other division with Spent Force, who collared Ruby Ransom by a head in a time of 2:00.3. Special Command was third. Vicki Givens co-owns the CR Commando gelding with Doris Marine. Spent Force won his second straight and now has won five of six lifetime starts for trainer Wayne Givens.

Victor Kirby drove Pam Wagner's JAs Commando to a 1:59.4 victory in the first division for the gals. The daughter of CR Commando found her way to the winner’s circle for the first time this year and for the sixth lifetime in 12 lifetime starts. Race favourite TP Lucy finished second and Stashi was third.

Kirby retuned to the winner's circle after guiding Funny Briefs to a 2:01.3 victory in her $20,000 prelim. The win came in the Political Briefing filly's first start of the season. Top Spa was the runner-up and Copper Harbor rounded out the top three.

In the DSBF non-wagering filly event, Corey Callahan moved Kathleen Kuebler's No More Games out of third and quickly took over the lead en route to a 2:03.4 victory. The Erv Miller-trained No More Games, a CR Commando filly, won last December’s $100,000 DSBF for two-year-old trotting fillies. She now has four wins in six career starts with one second-place finish in addition to $81,290 in earnings.
