One of the latest young reinsmen to join the 1,000-win club, Marc St. Louis Jr. rolled onward and upward on Sunday with five more winning drives at Windsor Raceway
.
St. Louis, who hit the 1,000 milestone mark last Wednesday, scored his first win on Sunday's 12-race card in the fourth race with Awestreos ($7.80) for trainer Ashley Nostadt. He then doubled up in the next race with the Keith Cullen-trained Sweet Billy ($4.40) and returned to the winner's circle after scoring with another Nostadt trainee, Big Black Mack ($13.40), to complete a natural hat trick. St. Louis also won with Mischievous Jesse ($13.80) in the ninth race for conditioner Jennifer Carpenter and later guided Owhatabeachbum ($4.60) to victory in the 11th for wife Danielle Neil.
St. Louis has won 104 races so far in 2011 while earning over $400,000 in purses.
Also on the card, three-year-old pacer Machin Music ($5.30) returned to action after being scratched sick two weeks ago and continued his win streak. The Mach Three-Words And Music gelding converted from the pocket to score his sixth straight win in a new mark of 1:55.3 for driver Brad Kramer and trainer-owner Gerald Mijal. He is now six-for-eight in his career with $15,975 earned.
