The winning streak is now five-in-a-row and counting for the claiming mare Run To Vegas, who turned a two-hole trip into a trip to victory lane on Thursday evening

at Woodbine Racetrack.

With Sylvain Filion calling the shots, Run To Vegas got away second and tracked Jiffy Lee through fractions of :27.3, :56.4 and 1:25.2 before tipping out and hauling down that foe in the stretch. A :28.2 final frame was enough for Run To Vegas to win by a length over Jiffy Lee in 1:54. Onaway shot through late to finish third.

Trained by Richard Moreau, Run To Vegas is now a perfect 5-for-5 to start the season and he is 2-for-2 since being scooped out of a claimer for $6,250 at Flamboro Downs by owner Karen Seguin of Putnam, ON. The 18-time winner has banked in excess of $150,000 to date.
