Fifty Two Finn, a 12-year-old Movie Mogul bay horse, won the $10,000 Open Trot in 1:59.1 at Buffalo Raceway Friday night

The win was the first this season in eight attempts for Fifty Two Finn, who is just $7,000 short of the half-million dollar earnings mark.
Fifty Two Finn ($6.30), leaving from the pylons in the field of seven and driven by John Cummings Jr., shot right to the lead and set all the fractions in the race, :29, :59.1, and 1:29.1. A :30 last quarter-mile put the winner two and a quarter lengths ahead of second-place finisher Austins Jon Jon and Kevin Cummings at the finish line. Perfect Man and Dave McNeight III came in third.
Fifty Two Finn is owned and trained by Ronald Stebbins of Rochester, New York.
