Presidential Series champion Golden Receiver returned to the track and continued his winning ways with a wire-to-wire score in the $40,000 Open Handicap Pace at Harrah's Philadelphia on Friday afternoon.

Driver Tim Tetrick fired the overwhelming favourite to the lead from the outside post six and cruised through panels of :27.1, :56, and 1:22.3 en route to an easy two length triumph in 1:51 flat. Flem N Em N and David Miller followed from the pocket to place and Shoobees Place, driven by Corey Callahan, rounded out the top three finishers as the rest of the field was interfered with by breaker Rockin The House and Yannick Gingras.

Golden Receiver paid $2.60 to win his first start back in a month.

The eight-year-old Village Jove gelding, who has paced a pair of 1:48.4 miles already in 2013, is now a perfect six-for-six on the year with $141,750 banked in purses.

The 55-time career winner now boasts a bankroll totalling $1.73 million for trainer Mark Harder and breeder Nina Simmonds, who shares ownership with Our Horse Cents Stables.
