Lakeshore Mayor Tom Bain has commented on the Lakeshore Horse Raceway group's recent meeting with the Ontario Racing Commission and the Ontario Ministry of Food and Rural Affairs horse racing transitional panel.
A brief report by blackburnnews.com has cited Bain as saying that the group's business plan needs to be tightened up before its next meeting with the panel.
The article also states that the Lakeshore Group will 'likely' apply for $300,000 in transitional funding to be utilized for 10 live race dates hoped for this year.
