So Much More made it four wins in a row in the Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace at Woodbine Mohawk Park, taking Friday night's $32,000 feature in 1:52.1 with James MacDonald in the bike.

Trafalgar (Jody Jamieson) charged off the gate from the outside post six before being looped by stablemate Better Be Donna N (Jonathan Drury) after a :27.3 quarter, but So Much More was hot on her heels and took over as they passed the half in :56. The streaking mare led to three-quarters in 1:25 while Trafalgar took her shot but could only make it up to the leader's wheel as So Much More cruised to victory, clocking her third consecutive winning mile in a time of 1:52.1. Lauras Love (Bob McClure) finished two lengths behind in third.

Sent postward as the 1-5 bettors' choice, So Much More paid $2.40 to win and $2.10 to place. There was no show wagering.

Trained and co-owned by Don Beatson, the six-year-old daughter of Big Jim earned her 45th career win and boosted her bankroll to $892,008. She's stashed away $92,380 of that total in just eight starts so far this year competing against the top pacers, with four wins, three seconds and a fourth-place finish. Beatson's son Kenn and grandson Cole England also share ownership.
