Rhianne paced home for her third straight win Friday, March 15 in Northfield Park’s 12th race to complete a five-bagger for driver Ryan Stahl.
The seven-year-old is owned by Jodi Schillaci of Macedonia, Ohio and is trained by Sam Schillaci. Ryan Stahl drove the mare to complete her trio of victories. Tyler Smith has driven the mare for her previous two wins.
Rhianne sat the pocket through fractions of :29.1, :59.4 and 1:30 before pulling into the passing lane and stopping the clock in 1:58.4. She finished a full length in front of her closest competitor, Mcardle Direct (Chris Page).
Friday’s triumph increased Rhianne’s (Rambaran-DJs Fool-Armbro Operative) lifetime win tally to 15 and her career earnings to $61,451. Rhianne returned $7.40 to win.
Stahl’s other winners included Sand Late` ($3.20) in race one, Friskie D ($4) in race four, Mephisto Waltz ($9.40) in race seven, and Apple N Strawberry ($3.40) in race eight.
The 34-year-old Stahl started driving in 1994 and has since garnered over 3,000 career victories and is approaching $9.5 million in purse earnings.
