They saved the best for last in London on Friday evening as the top class – the Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 – went postward as the final dash on the 11-race card.
So Frisky did most of the road work for driver Travis Henry in the affair at the distance of 1-1/16 miles, and she managed to dig in late for the winning effort in a time of 2:05.1.
Henry had the favourite third and parked at the quarter pole while Firebby A and Casino Classic battled past that marker in :29.1. Firebby A eventually cleared, but she was quickly overtaken by So Frisky who went on to post remaining fractions of :58.2 and 1:28. She fended off late pressure and won by a half-length margin over Casino Classic. Third prize went to Ladylike.
