Driver Marc St Louis left with Ideal Toy and endured first-over pressure from Fluentocity to win the $8,800 featured pace at The Raceway at Western Fair District by a nose on Tuesday, March 12.

The five-year-old Western Ideal mare set fractions of :30.3, 1:02.3 and 1:31.3 over the "good" track. Fluentocity, third at the quarter, tipped off the rail heading to the half and prompted Ideal Toy through the second circuit. With a length-and-a-quarter advantage into the stretch, Ideal Toy's lead gradually diminished as Fluentocity edged closer, but hit the wire first in 2:01.2. Pocket-sitter Lady Everlong took third.

Owned and trained by Danielle Neil, Ideal Toy won her 10th race from 62 starts, earning $44,954. She paid $6.90 to win.
