After his victory in the Newmarket Handicap at Australia's Flemington Racecourse this past weekend, Hay List turned some heads when he fashioned a bodysuit constructed with a moisture-management fabric.
In passing, the duds looked a lot like a wetsuit.
"It is basically like a compression suit," Hay List's trainer, John McNair, was quoted as saying in an article by Fox Sports.
"You see a lot of cyclists, footballers and other sports people use them. They are designed to aid recovery, help with muscle fatigue.
"We have been using them on Hay List for a couple of weeks now and it makes a huge difference."
