Standardbred Canada would like to remind all passionate horseplayers that the deadline to have your opinions heard at the Standardbred Wagering Conference is today (Friday, March 20) at 5:00 p.m. (ET)

Are you a horseplayer, past or present, with a passionate point of view on what the industry must do to increase wagering? If so, Standardbred Canada wants you to be heard and help make a difference!
The Standardbred Wagering Conference will take place from April 28 to April 30, 2009 at Caesars Windsor. SC is seeking a team of customers who are willing to be in Windsor, Ontario for two days (April 28 and 29) of the event.
While it will be the responsibility of each participant to make travel arrangements to and from Windsor, SC will sponsor their conference registration fee, including designated meals and provide complimentary accommodations for one night.
We ask horseplayers who have a point of view to share, and expect to be available for the conference, to email [email protected] with the subject line: 'Horseplayer.'
Please provide the following information:
- 1) Name, age, location
- 2) Profession
- 3) If you are also a participant (i.e. owner, breeder etc.) how are you involved?
- 4) How much do you bet annually on harness racing? Thoroughbred racing?
- 5) What else do you wager on outside of horse racing? How much?
- 6) What is the biggest thing the industry could do to reach out to you as a bettor?
We ask that all submissions be made by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20.
