Driver Robert Shepherd stole the show at Flamboro Downs on Friday night with a five-win performance during the 12-race card.

Shepherd strung together three consecutive wins in the second through fourth races with Jordon Boy ($5.10) for trainer Gerard Demers, Thehouseisrockin ($3.80) for Victor Puddy, and Grace Seelster ($4.80) for Ben Wallace. He also guided A Sudden Twist ($3.70), another Puddy trainee, to victory lane in the sixth race. Shepherd later earned his fifth win of the night in the 10th dash aboard Dapple Apple ($5.50) for William Reda.

With his five-bagger, Shepherd moves into second-place in the track's seasonal standings, trailing leader Scott Coulter by just one victory.

The 32-year-old reinsman, who has earned most of his 42 wins this year at the Dundas, Ont. half-mile oval, currently ranks among Canada's top 10 drivers in 2013.
