It has been announced that Jeff Gural, Jim Simpson, Karyn Malinowski, Thomas Carver and Jon Hanson will soon be sitting face to face and discussing New Jersey's gambling and horse racing industries
.
An article on pressofatlanticcity.com explains that on Monday, February 28, the Hall Institute of Public Policy announced that five individuals will be discussing the two industries during a forum which will be taking place Thursday, March 31.
While Gural (racetrack operator), Simpson (breeder) and Hanson (advisor to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie) are very well known names in the horse racing industry, fewer may know Malinowski and Carver.
Malinowski is a director of the Rutgers Equine Science Center and professor of animal sciences. Malinowski recently donated $100,000 to support new initiatives, programs, and better horse care through research and education at the center.
Carver recently stepped down as executive director of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.
