First Foal For Confederate

The first foal of 2023 U.S. Horse of the Year Confederate has arrived. 

Diamond Creek announced the arrival of a filly, born on Feb. 4, 2025 at Anvil and Lace Farm in Kentucky. The dam is stakes winner Priceless, a daughter of Rockin Image who was a winner of $627,766.

Confederate (Sweet Lou - Geothermal) retired with an ultra-impressive record of 18-2-1 from 22 starts with nearly $2.2 million in earnings and a world record mark of 1:46.1 taken at The Red Mile to stamp his place as the sport's fastest three-year-old pacer.
