Dali Cat Dashes In London

Launching towards the top from post seven, Dali Cat took the $8,600 featured pace at the Raceway at Western Fair District on Tuesday, Feb. 5 going an added distance in 2:08.1.

Driver Scott Coulter landed Dali Cat in third as Hailey Lujah pushed for the lead from the rail and Classic Smiley, from post two, taking the pocket. Past the quarter in :28.1, Coulter edged Dali Cat first over passing a :59.3 half and drew alongside the pacesetter by three-quarters in 1:29.4. Dali Cat kicked clear of Hailey Lujah turning into the stretch and finished one-and-three-quarter lengths better than Classic Smiley taking second.

A four-year-old mare by Dali, Dali Cat won her eighth race from 36 starts, earning $34,412. Douglas Currie conditions the $6.30 winner for owners Darryl and Diane Currie.
