The 2011 winter has been one of the harshest in recent memory for New Jersey residents, but even extreme winter weather can't keep the state's horsemen indoors for long

.

"We get them out everyday. The only day we didn't get out was the day we had 24 inches [of snow]," trainer Bruce Saunders told Bob Heyden in the Meadowlands Racetrack's latest video feature.

In the feature, some of the track's leading horsemen talk about the difficulties of keeping the sport's equine athletes in training during extreme winter weather.
