Seelster Farms is pleased to announce that Artistic Fella p, 2, 1:53.3; 3, 1:48.4; 1:48f ($2,640,532) arrived at the
farm late Wednesday evening.
The seven-year-old son of Pacific Fella has returned from standing his first season in the Southern Hemisphere at Empire Stallions in Victoria, Australia.
Artistic Fella retired as the world’s fastest pacer on a five-eighths mile track after four very impressive seasons of racing. A multiple stakes winner, Artistic Fella’s victories include the Meadowlands Pace, Breeders Crown, Berry’s Creek, Classic Series, Dan Patch and Franklin Memorial.
Over the course of his extraordinary career, Artistic Fella won 50 per cent of his lifetime starts, had seven wins between 1:48 and 1:48.4, and averaged over $50,000 per lifetime start. Artistic Fella raced against and defeated such great horses as Mr Feelgood, Mister Big and Lis Mara.
Artistic Fella will begin his North American stallion career in 2010 at Seelster Farms.
His service fee has been set at $5,000.
