O’Brien Award finalist Richard Moreau has a big weekend coming up as he searches for an unprecedented ninth Trainer of the Year title in a row at Sunday’s O’Brien Awards, but before that night rolls around he’s doing what he does best – taking care of business.
Moreau celebrated a training triple on the Thursday evening program at Flamboro Downs, and it all started with a score in Race 6 with Outlaw Kismet (2:01.4). He then took down Race 8 with Alex Having Fun (1:57.4) and capped off his training triple by capturing Race 9 with Quan Blue Chip (1:58.4).
With 200 or more wins each season since 2012, the Quebec native has piled up over 6,400 lifetime wins and purses in excess of $66 million.
