Schell Getting Creative For Del Pointe

It has been reported that the developer of the proposed Del Pointe Resort and Racino in Delaware, Preston Schell, has said that he is considering erecting a 60,000-square-foot, well-insulated temporary tent to house slot

machines and other amenities while the permanent facility is under construction.

The article, on delmarvanow.com, states that a similar structure was utilized by Indiana Downs while its permanent facility was built.

Shell was cited as saying that the interior would not look any different than a traditional casino. He also said that once the permanent gaming area is erected, the tent will likely be used as part of the final indoor sports facility.
