A pair of pacers from the Travis Cullen stable shared the spotlight on Sunday, Feb. 27 at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino as they extended their respective win streaks, which now span a half-dozen races.

In the afternoon's opener for $6,000 claiming pacers, Rain Gauge overtook race leader Twin B Right Way into the stretch and just held off the oncoming Cowboys Dirtyboots in a photo finish in 1:58.3. The nine-year-old Raining Again gelding joined Cullen's stable last November after competing in the eastern prairie provinces for owner Blair Kidd.

His stablemate Outlaw Gunpowder was a 1:55.2 wire-to-wire winner in the third race, $20,000 optional claiming event. Premium Attaction followed two and three-quarter lengths behind off a pocket trip while Blue Eyed Cowboy finished third. The five-year-old son of Smart Shark, a former Western Canada Pacing Derby champion, was claimed for $12,500 last Halloween by Cullen and Keith Hannah and has won all but one of his nine starts since.
