The Quiet Mon sat a perfect trip behind leader Race Track Ruler, popped the pocket down the stretch, and hurried home to win the $35,000 Invitational Pace Saturday night at the
Meadowlands
.
With driver Andy Miller in tow, The Quiet Mon [$20.60 $8.00 $7.40] got up in time for a 1:49.4 win. Race Track Ruler (John Campbell) finished second, holding off the late rally up the rail from Lucky Bettor (Yannick Gingras) who finished third.
The Quiet Mon is now three for seven in 2009 for trainer Joe Anderson. He boosted his career earnings to more than $400,000 for owner Wize Advisors LLC of Palm Beach, Florida.
