After finishing second in his first lifetime start, pacer Larrys Mist has been untouchable winning five in a row.
On Thursday night at Flamboro Downs, the four-year-old Mach Three gelding went wire-to-wire for regular pilot Trevor Henry in a time of 2:00.2 -- not a flashy speed badge but still impressive given the five-second variant for track conditions.
Richard Moreau trains Larrys Mist, owned by Gerrie Tucker of Montreal, Que. in partnership with Debbie & Barry Bird of Harwood, Ont. Since hitting the track earlier this year, Larrys Mist has quickly accumulated $19,300 in six starts.
