Trotting mare Chat Chat pushed her career earnings over the $100,000 mark as she continued an impressive win streak on Sunday at Rideau Carleton Raceway

Chat Chat notched her 12th consecutive victory in the sixth race with another dominant front end effort. With regular reinsman Guy Gagnon at the helm, the Angus Hall-Breathe Easy miss cleared to command after the :29 opening quarter and raced past middle splits of :59.1 and 1:27.4 while turning back first over challenger Credit Balance (Stephane Gendron). She then drew away from her foes in the stretch to win in 1:56.4 by over three lengths. Sack Full Of Gold (Simon Allard) and Caliban Hanover (John MacDonald) followed for second and third.
Trained by Gerard Demers, the five-year-old was claimed by 9174 7998 Quebec Inc. of Blainville, Que. for $9,750 from trainer Per Henriksen two wins into her streak on Nov. 13.
Chat Chat paid $2.10 to win as the heavy 1-9 favourite.
