Conditioner Ben Baillargeon served notice to the rest of the Woodbine Entertainment Group trainer colony this past week with a six-win performance that vaulted him into
top spot in the local standings.
The strong week was due in large part to a sweep of all four divisions of the first leg of the General Brock Trotting Series which went postward on Sunday afternoon.
Baillargeon now holds a one-win lead, 23-22, over last season’s WEG leader Tracy Brainard.
The largest payout of the week was an $11,676.80 superfecta payout which came in Race 8 on the Monday evening program.
