Representatives of New Jersey’s racing interests will be meeting on Tuesday night, February 24 with former US Attorney Christopher Christie who is making a bid to be the Republican gubernatorial candidate.
Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey president Tom Luchento and first vice president Edward Razzetti as well as thoroughbred representatives Dennis Drazin and Thomas Swales are scheduled to meet with Christie to discuss his positions on the problems facing the horse racing industry.
