Leading drivers Brett Miller and Jim Marohn, Jr. stayed hot on Thursday (February 23) at The Meadowlands on a day where temperatures were unseasonably into the 60s.
Marohn won three of the night’s nine races including a five-length blowout in 1:51.3 with the Darran Cassar trained-mare Snow Cone.
Brett Miller was the star of the latest broadcast of “Meadowlands Harness Live” airing on SNY. Miller won two of the three races including one with the eight-year-old Fox Valley Steffen, who equalled his lifetime mark of 1:55. Miller also won with I Found My Beach, the classy veteran who won his third straight. The pacer has three wins and a runner-up finish since being claimed by trainer John Mc Intyre.
Total handle was $1,317,458 on the nine-race card.
