Sisters Win Back-To-Back Races

Sisters Aqua Artist and Sectionline Yankee won back-to-back races Sunday night at Miami Valley raceway, including the $10,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace.

Trainer Steve Bauder had the siblings super sharp on this night and reinsman Chris Page tokt full advantage. Aqua Artist, at age seven two years the senior of Sectionline Yankee (both out of the Cambest mare Aquatic Yankee), beat the top distaffers with a front-stepping 1:55.1 effort. She bested Rev Me Up (Dan Noble) and Holiday Shopper (Jason Brewer) for her 25th career triumph, raising her lifetime bankroll to $306,696.

Sectionline Yankee pushed her total earnings to $246,795 with her 14th win. Her 1:56.3 score over Babes Chip (Tyler Smith) and Sonic Breeze (Jim Pantaleano) came in a $7,000 conditioned event.

Owners Harold Lee Bauder, Harold L. Bauder and Michael Dixon also bred both winners.
