It has been reported that Ohio's Substitute House Bill 386 has been given the green light to the Senate after a House vote of 69-24 in favour of bringing video lottery terminals and expanded casino gaming to the state's racetracks
.
According to an article by The Daily Jeffersonian, the bill also calls for expanded charitable bingo gaming in the state.
"As tracks open up in new cities, as the casinos open up in new cities, new opportunities will be opening up in new cities," Representative Kenny Yuko was quoted as saying. He added, "We've got four great cities with great people, eager and hungry for work."
The report also explains that HB 386 also includes rules to accommodate the relocation of racetracks in Columbus and Toledo to the Youngstown and Dayton areas, respectively.
