Davis Delivers At Fraser

Trainer/driver Bill Davis had a sensational Friday night at Fraser Downs dominating the 10-race program with five victories

Fans were not disappointed when a trio of Davis trainees rolled out back-to-back wins starting in the third. Onemoreyear prevailed by a neck in 1:55.1 for the veteran horseman, then Up Front Palone was up next scoring a four-length triumph in a career best clocking of 1:53.2. Wrapping up the Davis pick three, Winter Bliss won by over two lengths in 1:56.1.

Fraser's 2008 leading trainer and driver later returned to the spotlight with a double scoring in Race 7 aboard Active Pass (1:54.1) and in Race 8 with Shamardel (1:53.3).

Davis has conditioned 15 winners this year earning over $88,000 in purses. The resident of Langley, B.C., has also recorded 26 driving wins earning over $156,000.
