With a new house speaker in the state of Massachusetts, it has been reported that lawmakers are now lining up to take another stab at legislation which would lead to the legalization of VLT gambling in the state.
A report today on thesunchronicle.com states that new speaker Robert DeLeo has a pair of racetracks in his district and that he has voted in a pro-racino manner in the past.
The article states that while under his leadership casinos are also now "in play." DeLeo has been quoted as saying, "I like slots at the racetracks."
