Since going home empty handed in back-to-back starts last October, top class trotter B Yoyo has turned into a very consistent money maker for owner Brad Grant of Milton, Ont.

In fact, his victory in Monday’s $34,000 Preferred Trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park was his second straight score and it was tenth consecutive start in which he managed to bring home the bacon in the form a purse cheque.

Free Willy Hanover fired to the lead from Post 4 in the Monday evening feature and provided the group with fractions of :28.4, :58.4 and 1:2. P L Jill was first over around the final turn and even-money favourite B Yoyo was tracking cover from second over.

Louis Philippe Roy tipped off cover in the lane and B Yoyo thundered home in :27.3 to win by a neck over the tempo-setting Free Willy Hanover in 1:55.2. Musical Rhythm was a lapped on third.

Richard Moreau trains the nine-year-old son of Striking Sahbra-B Joyflo who lit the lamp for the 39th time in his career. The $17,000 payday helped lift his lifetime earnings to $634,949.
