It has been reported that the Michigan Gaming Control Board has received a letter from the operators of Mt. Pleasant Meadows which conveys that the track has requested to voluntarily surrender its Race Meeting and Simulcast Permit for 2014.
The news comes courtesy of a report by the Morning Sun which states that the course of action has come since the track’s lender group has discontinued funding for simulcast operations.
The report states that officials with the track have refused to comment on the situation.
