It has been reported that multiple sets of harnesses have been stolen from Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park.
A report by The Guardian has quoted Charlottetown Deputy Police Chief Gary McGuigan as saying “We had a report of a theft of four sets of harness from Red Shores (Thursday) night.”
McGuigan added that “There is an investigation and we would ask for the public’s assistance.”
PEI Standardbred Horse Owners Association Board Member Tom Clark was quoted as saying that this is the second such occurrence as of late. “It’s our second occurrence over the last, we’ll say couple of months, where harnesses and other tack items have been stolen.”
