Christian Cullen Produces NZ Sale Toppers

The Australasian Classic Sale kicked off the Sale of the Stars' four-day event at the Karaka Sales Centre in New Zealand on Saturday, February 14 and The Muskeg Express garnered the highest bid of the day

.

The Muskeg Express, a son of Christian Cullen – Black Maire, took down a final bid of $155,000. Uptown Attitude, Saccha Maguire and Cullen Bromac, all sired by Christian Cullen, who is standing his first season in North America, were sold for $150,000.

A total of 194 yearlings were featured on the first day. The average sale price was $32,280 with a clearance rate of 74 per cent.

The New Zealand Premier Sale, to be held at the Canterbury Agricultural Park on February 16, 17 and 18 between 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., will feature over 400 standardbreds.
