Empire Exec Comments On Monticello

Charlie Degliomini, the executive vice president of Empire Resorts, has said that his company will not turn its back on the Monticello Casino and Raceway, even though Empire Resorts just opened the Resorts World Catskills casino nearby.

According to an article by the Times Herald-Record, Degliomini has said that the company’s operation at Monticello will continue to have a bright future.

“We think of it as a business that will still be active and vibrant,” said Degliomini, who went on to say, “we definitely wanted to keep it open,” and “there’s still jobs there.”
