In 2010, Grudge Match won just two of 25 starts. In 2011, he is now five-for-five and in the midst of a six-race
winning spree.
After a three-week lay off, Grudge Match showed no signs of rust on Sunday night at Windsor Raceway. Trace Tetrick hustled Real Desire gelding Grudge Match through splits of :27, :57.1 and 1:25.4 while holding off the challenges of Ramair (Dan Johnson) and favoured Hesoneinamillion (Nick Steward) to post his sixth straight win in a time of 1:56.1.
Owned by Ohio's Lynda Brewer and trained by Jeffrey Brewer, Grudge Match now boasts 19 lifetime wins and more than $83,000 earned.
