Modern Art and Pegasus Spur have both returned home to Seelster Farms from the Southern Hemisphere

. Modern Art stood his fourth season in Australia at Empire Stallions, while Pegasus Spur finished his third season at Woodlands Stud in New Zealand.

Modern Art p,2,1:51.3; 3,1:50.2 ($1,055,233) is the leading money-winning sire of two-year-old pacers in Australia this season.

Pegasus Spur’s 2,1:58f; 3,1:55.2f – 1:54 ($1,302,599) much-anticipated first crop of Southern Hemisphere yearlings will sell in the upcoming Australasian Classic Yearling Sale on February 14 and in the New Zealand Premier Yearling Sale, which runs from February 16 to 18.

Seelster Farms also welcomed the first foals of the season for both stallions this past weekend. Cinder Sun Rose p,5,1:52.3 ($65,913), the Cambest full-sister to multiple stakes winner Cinder Best p,3,1:51.4; 4,1:50.2; 1:50 ($830,378), foaled a striking bay filly by Modern Art on February 7. Bambino Rose, the dam of the ultra-consistent Brawn Seelster 1:55.2f’ 08 ($390,240) and Blossom Seelster 3,1:56f ($372,166) had a sharp looking Pegasus Spur filly on February 8.
