Canadian-Owned Pacer Wins Downunder

Georgetown N front-stepped his way to an impressive victory in the $25,000 Terang & District Co-op Pacing Cup at Dalvui Raceway on Saturday in Victoria, Australia for trainer-driver Mike Langdon and Canadian owners Isaac Waxman and Brenda Selwyn Waxman

Georgetown N led most of the way en route to winning the 2,680 metre race in a mile rate of 2:01:8, with his final quarter clocked in :27.6. Favourite Village Of Dreams finished second and Hilton Fly High was third.

The six-year-old gelded son of Washington Vc-Touch Of Grace N has put together a record reading 11-9-8 in 59 career starts while banking $428,977.
