Ted Smith, President & Chief Executive Officer of Standardbred Canada, announced today his appointment of Pat Kennedy as Registrar, effective
immediately.
Kennedy is the Manager of Member Services as well as being the Assistant Registrar for the last six years. Smith acknowledged his appreciation of the strong working relationship Kennedy has with the United States Trotting Association and all international standardbred registries.
Smith stated that “It is with the utmost of confidence that I appointed Pat Kennedy as Registrar. She exudes integrity and has the purity of our breed at heart. Pat is very customer-oriented and extends service to the Canadian breeding industry daily in a friendly and efficient manner.”
Janet Forry was appointed, in late October, as the new Registrar of the United States Trotting Association and, with Pat being appointed the Registrar in Canada, the Standardbred breeding registries in North America will be directed by new leaders.
