Spidermonkey (1:56.1) got the ball rolling in Race 2 for Callahan, who guided the pacer to those nose decision for trainer Steve Le Blanc.
The resident of Queenstown, Maryland didn’t need the photo finish camera to declare Mr Beau Windswept (1:58.1) the winner in Race 6, as the Nicholas Callahan trainee was victorious by a one-length margin.
Higher Mark (1:55) went wire-to-wire in Race 8, Miller Creek Heart (1:58.2) survived a first-over trip to take Race 11 and Colonel Mustard (1:54) did it by more than two lengths in Race 12 to complete Callahan’s productive night at the office.
In just his fifth year as a driver, Callahan has already racked up 883 lifetime wins and more than $9.3 million in purses. He celebrated a career year in 2008, winning 450 races and potting more than $5.2 million in earnings.
