Dismissed at 32-1, Americangirlfriend stayed calm when her cover broke stride and pulled off the upset in Tuesday’s $15,000 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred Pace at The Meadows.

Americangirlfriend and Jim Pantaleano were following Miss Kilo when that one jumped it off entering the final turn. Unperturbed, Americangirlfriend persevered and scored in a career-best 1:52.2, 1-1/4 lengths better than the rallying Tremor Hanover. Early leader R Marie Hanover saved show.

J.C. Miller, Jr. trains the three-year-old daughter of Real Desire-Movealittlecloser, who soared over $100,000 in lifetime earnings, for Randy Ringer.

Mike Wilder drove four winners on the 15-race card while Tony Hall, Aaron Merriman and trainer Mark Goldberg each fashioned a triple.
