Big Rigs To Stud Duty

Sugar Valley Farm of Delaware, Ohio, in conjunction with Ed Mullinax, Miller Stables and DM Stables is pleased to announce that Big Rigs will be joining the Sugar Valley Farm stallion roster for the 2013 breeding season.

Big Rigs 2,1:55.1s; 3,1:52.2; 4,1:52.1f ($664,038), a Grand Circuit stakes winner at both two and three, is by the great Andover Hall and out of the World Filly Trotting Derby winner and Breeders Crown runner-up, Filly At Bigs 3,1:54 ($816,475).

At two, Big Rigs won four of nine starts including victories in the Champlain, Bluegrass, and his Breeders Crown elimination where he took his freshman mark of 1:55.1f.

At three he came back to win the Bluegrass Stakes in a season's best 1:52.2, but his biggest payday that year came when he won the Matron Final at Dover in 1:52.4, defeating Chapter Seven and Hambletonian champion Broad Bahn in the process.

A one-year aged career in 2012 saw Big Rigs win four times at the Open level including an open-length victory in a Dover Downs track record 1:52.1f in the final start of his career.

Big Rigs comes from a family full of black type print. His second dam is the $416,000-plus winner Mombasa, making his third dam Canadian legend, Mygal Haw Lea...dam of Bridger, etc.

He will be standing his first season stud for an introductory fee of $3,500 with a multiple mare discount of $500 available.
